Sputnik Light single-dose vaccine: All you need to know about the single-dose vaccine coming to India next month

Getting vaccinated is the only way to protect oneself from the highly contagious COVID-19. The vaccine drive against COVID-19 is in full swing in India with more than 117 crore doses administered till now. And now the much talked about Russia's single-dose Sputnik Light Covid-19 vaccine is all set to hit the market by December 2021.

Sputnik Light is the second Russian vaccine to get approval from the Drugs Controller General of India (DGCI), the first being Sputnik V, a two-dose vaccine, which was made available for use in May. Covishield and Covaxin were the first two vaccinations administered to the people in the country. Both are indigenous vaccines manufactured by the Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech respectively.
