Where is the best place to store it?

Store it on your blockchain address, using Theta Network official wallet, found on their website at:

And use a hardware wallet to access the Theta Wallet.
(Ledger is a good hardware wallet)

In my opinion, do not use your cell phone to access your crypto, even if there is a special cell phone wallet that you can use (Theta Network does have a special cell phone wallet app, but I would never use it)....instead, use a home desk top computer and always use a hardware wallet, as your keys, to access your blockchain address wallet. I've heard of people getting hacked and crypto stolen when they use cell phones for this purpose.

A good place to stake your Theta Token and TFuel is GPOOL.

I think the web wallet at Theta Networks' official website is safe, (the wallet at Theta Network's official website) (make sure you are at the correct website - (ALWAYS verify the URL) there are hacker copy cats out there that look exactly like it, trying to steal peoples' key words) ....BUT...if you enter your key, by hand, to access your Theta Wallet, then it is POSSIBLE that key loggers can intercept your keys and allow hackers to steal your crypto. So ALWAYS set up and use a hardware wallet, and I think the best one is Ledger.
NEVER enter your key words into ANY PLACE online, even if someone promises you a huge amount of crypto to do so, or if someone is offering to "help you" or "assist you" online.

If you do it this way, I believe the web wallet is safe, as long as you use the hardware wallet to access it EVERY time.

Also, stake all your Theta and TFuel because it takes a few days to unstake it, which makes it slightly more difficult to steal, as long as you keep an eye on it.

I don't know much about XRP. Theta is all I give a shit about.

You're right that is the safest way. The only problem for me is connecting the ledger is out of my league. I have no idea what I'm doing. If the ledger had a wallet for it I could send them there no problem. But the connecting the web wallet with the ledger is hard for me to understand

1. Buy a Ledger NANO X
2. Read the instructions that come with the NANO X and do what it says. The NANO X will generate key words for you to write down. Install the Ethereum app onto your NANO X, because Theta Network is completely Ethereum compatible and Ledger does not have a specific Theta Network app, since Ethereum works perfectly to communicate with your Theta Wallet)
3. NEVER let anyone see your key words, never take a photo of them, or let a surveillance camera see them, lock them away, engrave them onto steel plate, never enter them into anywhere online EVER.
4. After your NANO X is set up, use it to access your Theta Wallet at Theta Network's official website.
5. Your crypto is not stored ON your Ledger hardware wallet. The hardware wallet is merely the key you use to access your blockchain address (wallet), similar to a key fob to access and drive a car.

6. To "connect the Ledger hardware wallet to Theta Network official online wallet", (what you are really doing is using the hardware wallet as the KEY to access your blockchain address) just go to [link to wallet.thetatoken.org (secure)]
then select HARDWARE, then LEDGER, then EHTEREUM - LEDGER LIVE. (You will use Ledger Live, a software package, on your desktop computer which will talk from your hardware wallet to your online Theta wallet)

Ok sounds easy enough thank you. And then after that, the theta coins will be accessed by the phrase on my ledger or the phrase/key from the theta web wallet?

No, the key words are ONLY to reconstitute your Ledger hardware wallet in case it stops working, you lose it, or it gets stolen. You use the key words to set up a newly bought Ledger hardware wallet that will replace the old one to access your Theta Wallet blockchain address.

The hardware Ledger wallet creates a long "KEY", that you never see, that is used to access your Theta Wallet THROUGH your Ledger Live software. (this is what makes it impossible for hackers to intercept the key that gives you access to your blockchain address - it's all hidden and encrypted).

However, if someone gets your key words, they can access your online Theta blockchain address EASILY and steal your Theta Tokens (or other crypto). So protect the FUCK out of your keywords and never give them to anyone or let anyone ever have access to them, and never let them even see them. And also make sure you don't LOSE them.

And the password you choose to access your Ledger hardware wallet...make sure it is one you will never forget and make sure it is one that no one will be able to guess.

Yes it's a tech company with a centralized service, however it has plenty of decentralized aspects, such as its transactions, and the video / bandwidth relaying. AND YOU CAN RUN YOUR OWN SUB CHAIN, AND YOU HAVE FULL CONTROL, SET IT UP AND RUN IT WITH NO PERMISSION, All you need are 11,000 Theta Tokens to stake your sub chain and you're in business.

Transparent and non-private are blockchain attributes. It's all about improving the efficiency of bandwidth relaying, lowering overhead costs of it, it pays everybody involved properly, and it protects copyrights. And more.

Corporate backing partnerships are a great thing! We're talking Sony Samsung, and they all have hardware such as televisions and video game systems that will be running video and bandwidth relay nodes for Theta Network.
