User ID: 80857776 United States 11/28/2021 05:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | It is getting very difficult for most people. This April I replaced many things on my 2007 Land Rover Defender knowing that prices would skyrocket. A friend and I installed the parts even if the old ones still had some life in them. I bought two sets of tires installing one set and setting the other away in my garage. We also cleaned up the body and gave it a fresh coat of Land Rover green paint since the paint is also skyrocketing in price. I urge you to acquire handguns, shotguns, ammunition, and gear as looting may be on the way in your neighborhood soon. God help us all this shit is getting real. Quoting: Belgian Congo Report 81198800 Not discouraging people from doing it but just be aware you're in deep doo doo if you're just now starting to get firearms & ammo... Not only will it be really expensive but I wouldn't put it past the current administration if they were already actively tracking purchases on available fed databases...good luck out there Coldkidc |

I've stocked up on various items for my older vehicles that way. Have a box of all of the most common parts to fail on my older truck. I did the same on my cars. I'm good for the next 6 oil changes/filters, next 2 spark plug changes, I just bought and put new 70K mile tires on both cars, air filters, fresh brake pads + 1 extra set for each car, silicone lube, white lithium lube, and numerous other auto related items. It's going to get really bad people. Stock up while you still can get a few items. Between the US dollar becoming worth 10% of what it is now + the shortage in materials and parts, expect massive problems. |

I work about 45 hrs. a week and have a car and apartment ... went grocery shopping yesterday ... going to have to spend more wisely and ... hit the Boss up for a raise ..! Quoting: beenthruthat ... Tennessee ... I don't envy you having rent. Rent on even complete dumps is unreal these days - if you can even find a place to rent. There isn't a week gone by where there aren't several people begging for rentals here. There are none to be had, and when does come on the market, it's $1200 for a dump. This is North Georgia, too. That's a house payment for up here. Might was well buy than rent. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 81008318 United States 11/28/2021 05:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Raw organic honey shot up 30% overnight. That is small compared to the big ticket items of course, but to a retiree living on SS, it's noticeable. A bag of organic apples are also up more than a dollar. Raw ginger went up a dollar a pound. Why organic? It keeps me from getting sick which is even more expensive. |

[link to www.statista.com (secure)] Incredibly cheap compared to US and Canadian prices. That should show people how much of the cost of cigarettes are pure TAX. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26669668 I've put about 25,000kms on it since then and I can sell it for about $4k more than I bought it for. Problem is to replace it will cost me too much. Everything is being jacked up in price by plan and on purpose. THEY are crashing the economy on purpose. I bought a 2018 Tacoma 3 years ago. I had planned on getting a used one with 30k miles or so on it. But dang, the used ones were as expensive as the new ones that were leftover 2018s with incentives. I lucked out. Right after that, things got really screwy and prices jumped on both new and used. |
