How the hell do they stay in business with those prices ? No way in hell I am buying that shit. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81144165 They have sales daily through their email subscription. Recently they had a sale for shower gels and lotions for $5.95 each. 3 wick candles were $15.95 each. Hand soap was $2.95 each. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69408373 United States 11/28/2021 11:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Look up car parts! Quoting: eyeDR3 I've been needing to do a few things on my vehicle. Not only are parts extremely scarce but they have doubled and even in some cases TRIPLED in cost! That one hit me in the gut. I just need shocks, struts and a new windshield. Struts are either unavailable and listed at rather standard prices or doubled in cost. Windshield has tripled from 170 to over 400 bucks. When I'm done there I'll just need some minor things and she's winter ready. The nearest junkyard closed up a year ago so I travel far to one and they usually don't have my vehicle there. I've been lucky for most parts but lately no dice. Food has obviously gone way up too. Everyone I spoke with spent quite a lot this year for Thanksgiving. The great shitstorm has arrived. Quit crying the dirty little secret is you can afford it - |

Dollar stores now raising prices by 25%, across the board. Places that have not raised prices, have greatly reduced the size/quantity of what they are giving you for the same money. |

Because the water is "special" water, purified and good for the cat's kidneys. Oh and it was a nice cat picture on the label. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 81077203 Vietnam 11/29/2021 12:34 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Just bought a new Pixel 6 for $600 to replace my Pixel 3 that was having issues. The P3 cost $800. My new P6 has a bigger battery, bigger screen, double the memory, more powerful processor, big time camera upgrades and the newest version of Android. Google even threw in a free pair of $99 Pixel Buds A for per-ordering the phone. So the new phone is bigger stronger faster than my old one, got some nice ear buds and spent $200 less than I did on my old phone. Doesn't make up for all the other higher prices but at least Google is bucking the overall trend. |

That is small compared to the big ticket items of course, but to a retiree living on SS, it's noticeable. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81008318 A bag of organic apples are also up more than a dollar. Raw ginger went up a dollar a pound. Why organic? It keeps me from getting sick which is even more expensive. That's because the bees are dying off. Being killed off by GMO crops and synthetic pesticides, actually. We're going to see hunger on a scale Earth has never seen before. Probably not a time to get stick thin. Maybe 20 pounds over your correct weight. lol well I’m screwed then… I’m as light as I was my freshman year of HS playing varsity hockey when I was 5’7” and not 5’11” … I can’t gain the weight back to save my life. Guess I better accept starving to death. |

Last year it was $9.99. Now it's $12.39. I ended up going somewhere else and got him an Italian roast beef and fries and saved $3.00. I'm not paying 12 freaking dollars for a damned burger and fries. |

Avocado, coconut and olive oils, and cashews. I make a raw vegan "cheesecake" with soaked cashews, raw cacao butter and coconut oil. It's really, really good, loaded with healthy fat and protein. I make 16 bars in a 9" pan. Each bar is about 450 calories. I am fit, physically active, eat healthy, and on the thin side, so I was surprised by the weight gain after two pans in ten days. Then I did the calorie math. |
