Every system tends to attempt to create more order out of asymmetry. There are competing systems that are also trying to create order. Often these competing systems create a sort of equilibrium where some increase in order while others decrease in order in an ebb and flow, which in itself is a sort of ideal system. Our republic was a noble attempt to create such a system of systems.

We are now in a new era, where the equilibrium has been shattered, and power is accruing at a rapid pace in the hands of very, very few. It is so disproportionate now that most just accept the inevitable that the "rules" only apply to some. Everyone shrugs when a "crime" that a powerful person commits, one that would put most of us away forever, is discussed and then quickly evaporates into the next news cycle.

We have never (recorded at least) had the necessary technology to communicate at such a rapid pace as we do now. Even this forum is a miracle when you consider what was available for the sharing of ideas even a few decades ago. Should be a golden age of classical liberalism, where everyone is able to express their opinions freely and openly...

It seems like they are focused on the "3rd world" the use of taxpayer funded benefits and welfare to attract people from the "3rd world" has a dual effect....it reduces the population of areas with lots of resources (along with harvesting the most ambitious of their population to leave) and it destroys the economy and social fabric of the new host countries.
