I always keep these happenings to myself when it happens because it feels like its way over my head to even begin to explain and then I resign myself to the fact that nobody would believe me anyway.

It would be difficult to differentiate between the two from a fully immersed perspective. In my opinion, what we perceive is a combination of both.

I didn't say this is the ONLY way, but it is an easy way. Unless you get shot for trespassing, that is.

I won't go into all the reasons for the way I see this world. That would be hard to put into words.

Don't laugh, OP isn't far off.

I did something similar to this without a car the results were scary after a while.

I kept projecting different thoughts from my mind's eye as to what I would be expecting but I would keep other running thoughts in the back of my mind and then switch up my actions.

What quickly started happening was that things went out of sync, to the point where if I wasn't thinking anything, if I could blank out my mind, everything and everybody around me stopped and suspended animation. so much so that if I daydreamed into an empty space, that is made it seem like I was daydreaming, I could see everything and everybody waiting for me to take my next conscious thoughtful action and then it was like everybody resumed in one of those weird movies we've all seen where the people are just NPCs or clones or something.

It's times like that which makes me wonder if I am the targeted subject, but then that becomes a very paranoid notion if you dwell on it, as well as invalidates other people's individual experiences where they are in fact the target.

The idea and concept of NPCs may not be a constant state. For example, when you are on the highway or walking down a crowded sidewalk, your conscious awareness is only focused on yourself and what you are experiencing around you or who you are walking or driving with etc..

In those instances, you're no different than an NPC that is passing by somebody else who is in their own conscious state.

That is close to what I think..However I think of it more like a movie and God is the editor who can rewind or go forward to edit it..add something..or take something out and we as the characters in it never know as we play our parts throughout history and into the future.. Christ is said to have been slain before the earth was even created but yet his role in this movie came about 2000 yrs ago
