I got tested for Covid at work tonight and it came back positive

We get tested all the time since this all began, and I was negative every time until now. I had the rapid test and I will be tested with the PCR test tomorrow morning.

I don’t feel sick right now, the test was so I could travel home from work, now I’m in isolation at the camp at work. It’s day 12 of 14 on my rotation at work, I needed the test to catch a bus on Thursday to go home to Edmonton.

I’m unvaxxed. I’ll post updates on this.

Glad you have no symptoms, that’s a very good sign. I just got through 3 weeks of hell with Covid. It just lingers. I wasn’t crazy sick no breathing issues than God but had extreme fatigue and headaches with a low grade fever that wouldn’t quit. I hadn’t had a cold in years… but I was run down , no sleep and working in the cold with wet feet… pretty sure where I picked it up, very crowded area which I avoid generally. I think you’ll be fine. I’m not jabbed either but now at least I should have antibodies. God bless Kate.

The tests work as good as they need to...they can identify I’d you have “something”, and are so good as to tell you you don’t have others, like Influenza A/B, and other various viruses, like Rhino, or “known”Corona strains...

It doesn’t know you have exactly SARS-COV-2, or a variant....it just doesn’t test positive for anything else, so it assumes that’s what you have, since it flagged.

The PCR tests everyone thinks are bad, and supposedly being recalled...its ONE test, by one company...all the rest will continue to be used, and are considered accurate.

It could be a false positive. False positives do happen, especially when you test week after week. The PCR will tell you one way or another tomorrow.

If it is really a positive then stay isolated. Hopefully your symtptoms stay asymptomatic or mild.

IT WAS FALSE POSITIVE!!

3 days put into Isolation and let out this morning.

2nd test, PCR was NEGATIVE! I got the results @ 11 AM.

On my way home. Going to search for other work that won’t test me and push the vaxx on me. I’m done with this crap!
