No, the truth is, we used to have one rifle and limited ammo that we used for deer hunting. Then we realized that it was better just to buy packaged meat from Walmart (more safe, at least), and so one day we were boating and my husband just threw the damn thing over the side. His face was beet red. He whirled around and yelled "How can you kill innocent animals!" And then he went down below and drank a bottle of vodka. Meanwhile, my son was sort of confused, so I just told him don't worry son, daddy just needs to blow off some steam. I'll be giving him a BJ later and by tomorrow it will be like it never happened. The next day, we filled out the police report about our lost gun. It sucks, because I really miss deer sausage. On one of the back roads I regularly travel here in Nor Cal, the deer try to jump into my car. True story. I believe you. When I used to live in rural Missouri, I saw a doe bounding across the field so I stopped my car completely and just sat there, assuming they would go around.
