Do common Coronavirus cause positive Covid test results?

If you run enough cycles on a PCR machine just about everybody on earth will test positive.

In 18 months, I have never been able to find a definitive answer to this question op.

I. Want. To. Know!

Does it matter? Because:

1) anybody presenting with any symptoms is automatically counted as a "case" until the results come back;

2) anybody presenting with symptoms will first be tested for COVID; and reports are there are no longer swabs for flu tests because all swabs are going to the COVID testing effort; and

3) the false positive rate is so bad there have been multiple recalls on the PCR test, to include a full recall of what was the ONLY PCR test backed by the CDC.

No. 3 addresses your question. The recalls were due to false positives.

Funny thing is graphene in the masks could cause the symptoms, and then you get 1 - 3, with the person being counted as a "case" one way or another.

The PCR test can demonstrate genetic markers.

Everyone has been exposed to Corona virus. That is all that can be identified.

The only way to confirm vaccination is by taking a drop of blood to examine under microscopy.
