Re: How do we KNOW the BIBLE is LEGIT?
How do we know that what we are reading today isn't some revisionist writings of men who figured out how to keep other men in chains? It seems like are just now seeing the extraordinary measures our own governing body will do to hide the truth and bend the rules for personal benefit. How do we know that what we are reading hasn't been corrupted by men?

if you know something of God and the creation you know the bible is NOT THE WORD OF ANY GOD. It is a sort of history and the story of Jesus got crapped on big time.

anyone with a lick of sense knows that you are wicked, evil, and full of shit!

yes, the bible is the word of GOD and Jesus is the word made flesh.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

remember all is one, shitrantia book is NOT the word of GOD. It never was, and never will be.

Its not, some truth to the stories with political spins.

God...the Father..exists, as does His Son Jesus Yeshua.

The Bible covers 4000+ years of their interaction with mankind.

NOTHING that non-believers say will change these facts.

In reality, there is not one single shred of evidence OF ANY KIND that actually DISPROVES any of the vast majority of events in the Bible.

Dozens of people AND hundreds of places mentioned in the Bible have been proven to exist.

Here's a 191 page free PDF of Biblical Archaeological finds.

I have been following the Christ of the Bible for more than 10 years now. Have read through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation MORE than 5 times, and still counting. Have been studying the Bible doctrinally and theologically for more than 7 years—all self-taught through careful researches. I say all that so that you have an idea of who you’re engaging with, and hopefully take me seriously because nothing is more important than finding out who we are and who God is.

> #1 How do we know that what we are reading today isn’t some revisionist writings of men who figured out how to keep other men in chains?

Let me say that you’re right to be asking that question, and I would be lying to you if I say that there’s no such thing as “revisions” or any attempt to change the Bible, but they all have failed because of the King James Bible being the standard for the English speaking nations. It’s very difficult to change something and hope that nobody notice it when there’s a standard somewhere to which people can check against.

What we’re discussing here is in the realm of [Textual Criticism]. There are a lot of scholars out there who are very knowledgeable. You should look up: James White, Michael Kruger and Peter Williams. Textual Criticism isn’t my area of study, but I do read the Bible and study its contents with a passion, and have given some thoughts. “The Bible got changed” or “much was lost or left out” is a common objection, but how do you know that much was lost? People often say this but they can’t prove it.

Let us suppose that I just posted a public message on here. Someone comes along and decides to change a few wording. Would he be able to get away with it? Would people notice the change being made? Yes and No. If no one has seen the original message, then the hacker’s mission would be a success. But if others have seen it, then it would be an utter failure. Why? Those that have seen it have made a copy and shared with others, some have even archived it. In this digital age, it’s impossible to erase or change anything once the info gets to the public. To do so, you would have to go to every single person on the planet that has seen the original message, and erase all the copies—an impossible task.

Back then, they didn’t have computer or car, not even a printing machine. So if a message was to be passed on, they would have to write it down manually. The same message was copied over again and again many times. If an evil king or ruler wanted to make a small change, he would have to send people to find every person who possessed these manuscripts, and make changes to it without the owner (of the manuscript) knowing anything about it, otherwise words would get out. This again is an impossible task. The manuscripts we have for the Bible are in the THOUSANDS. This is why it’s not possible to just go in and change the Bible whenever you feel like it. Others have tried and proved to be pointless. Anyone who thinks they can change the Bible in this digital age is a fool. Try revising the KJV and you’ll experience the wrath of the KJV-Onlyists. Satan and the Elites of this world know that changing the Bible is not possible, so he and they have come up with a better strategy. Instead of changing it, it’s better to suppress it, outlaw it, or twist people’s understanding and interpretation of it. They’ll have more success there than attempting to change the Bible. What good is having the Bible if you’re reading it through Satan’s lens or the Elites’ interpretation, even if you believe that the Bible is original and unchanged?

A lot and much more can be said about this, but I’ll save it for later. For now I want to keep things short and to the point.

You states, “men who figured out how to keep other men in chains?”

My question is: How exactly? It’s good to ask questions, but we must press further: If men have figured out how to keep other men in chains, how did they go about accomplishing that? What type of men would revise the Bible? And what type of men are they seeking to control? I have read the Bible more than 5 times and have sought to live out its truth and I see the complete opposite of what you’re saying. For example, the Bible tells me that the heart of men are wicked. This means you can’t just blindly follow other men, especially the Government and so-called “experts”! It tells me to flee from sexual immorality which is being celebrated and promoted by corrupt men of this world. It tells me that there are only two genders, yet the Elites of this world are twisting it and telling me that there are MORE than two genders. It tells me to not love the world, yet the Elites of this world want me to become materialist—buy buy, consume consume. I can go on and on! The question for you is: How exactly am I being chained?
