BREAKING: Six cases of the omicron detected in Nebraska, after vaxxed superspreader infects entire family!!!

Six people in Crete have tested positive for the omicron variant according to the Nebraska Public Health Solutions District.

The first case was likely exposed during international travel to Nigeria, returned on November 23rd, and became symptomatic on November 24th. The five remaining cases were likely exposed through household contact with the first case.

Only one of the six people was vaccinated. None have required hospitalization.

I would say it's more like vaxxed folk think they are safe, so don't take precautions, go into public gatherings, etc. Because there isn't much interaction between vaxxed and unvaxxed, it's less likely to jump the gap, but once it does.. yea..

Once they have a positive PCR test, they send your sample to a lab for further analyzing where they then determine whether it's Omicron or not.

I don't know how they determine, but they don't determine this at your local testing facility, it gets sent elsewhere.

omicron is a mild version of the common influenza. This is flu season, with no flu.

Yeah, in general the symptoms don't seem any more severe (less even) than other variants.

The unvaccinated will likely remain most at risk for hospitalization / death.

That said, it's early so not enough data has been accumulated to make informed observations...unlike OP who just jumps to a random conclusion without thought.
