Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76953217 So what happens if the COMEX can't deliver? Nothing...this scenario has happened many times, they settle in cash. The only way to destroy COMEX precious metals, that I see, is short selling having to cover, becomes explosive and the Nickel market event happens, where the "market" no longer exists because everyone has gone broke. |

Silver I am sure is the same way. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76953217 So what happens if the COMEX can't deliver? Comes rules specifically state they reserve the right to make all settlements in cash. Yep. A fully paper operation. No metal there at all, it's mainly used to manipulate the price for the real silver. When you are afraid of losing your life, you have already lost your life. Don't be afraid. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76953217 [link to sprott.com (secure)] So reading the fine print on PSLV you actually have to hold enough PSLV units that equal 10,000 oz of silver and based on current value that is about 28140 units and at current price per unit is $253,541 before they would ship you silver in exchange for shares. That is a cost per oz of $25.54 cents and comex is 26.20 oz currently so I don't see how I could get for cheaper from SPROTT ? At 10,000 oz current physical price you are looking at around $300,000 (approx $30 oz) $4 premium). I am now questioning Sprott delivering [link to sprott.com (secure)] |
