Yesterday hubs and I were on our way home from hiking and when we passed a McDonald's their sign said they were paying $15.50 an hour to start. Still they cannot get employees. The reason they cannot get employees there (or most other places in the Metro) is that they are demanding employees be vaxxed. If it weren't for that people would be lined up to apply. Heck, even I would go flip burgers for that amount- but I wont take poison to do it. Only 54% of our state is vaccinated, only 59% in the Metro. The highest percentage of unvaxxed are black people. Guess who has always had the highest numbers working formerly minimum wage jobs? Drop vaxxine requirements and see how fast the job openings fill up.

I've worked a full time job 20 years after graduating college back in 2002. I now make $26.50/hr. If $20/hr is the "new min wage", well then WTF is the point? I have been busting my ass since I got this job. Started at $11/hr. FUCK THIS! I will find every way possible to cheat the system and NOT WORK.
