It does not matter how many wallets either. Put them all in and it will calculate your taxes for you. They make it easy. [link to www.cointracker.io (secure)] |

[link to www.cointracker.io (secure)] Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77130716 I've read about some of those trackers, are you saying they will work for ANY exchange... even ones like Kucoin or Bitrue? I've got about 6 different locations where I've made trades. I was hoping someone has found a CPA or something like that to do the heavy lifting and sorting. Since we are in uncharted territory with most of this, I have no idea HOW exact things need to be before triggering red flags. For instance... buying tether with Dollars, then trading tether into another coin... When the tether price is like 1.02 or dipping below the dollar.... penny shit here and there. Also, keeping track of coins that are staked... as in, when you get staking rewards daily and each reward is slightly different than the one previously, over months.... How to figure your cost basis correctly if you sold them all at one time. My CPA says usually, it's 'first in and first out' with regards to figuring that out.... lots of 000.0000's to keep up with. However, as anyone actually used a cointracker over several different wallets as I mentioned above? I'm certaily willing to look into it, but I don't want to spend alot of my brain power there if they really aren't up to snuff with all these smaller exchanges you have to use sometimes to get the coins you want. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 78131002 United States 12/04/2021 08:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hey guys, Quoting: Magnison I've made a good bit of money in crypto this year... I traded much more than I thought I would and it's gotten a bit complicated in documenting all the info. Has anyone had luck finding a good CPA or tax authority in crypto that has helped with your taxes in previous years? Currently I have most of my trades listed on a simple spread sheet. I'm not impressed with the transaction histories you can download from the exchanges I've used. Honestly, they can launch coins but their accounting and transaction software is sorely lacking to someone of my mental abilities. Any suggestions out there? I use Atomic and Exodus wallets and have several Crypto VISA cards with High daily limits. I pay everything with those cards and just keep high balances in USDC or XRP & XLM. So there really is nothing to account for that is traceable. My wallets and VISA cards are my bank and the Government does not have access to these. *Keep your money out of the banks and you are good to go. I even pay my monthly GLP subscription with a Bitcoin VISA |
