People overestimate what can be done in a year's time, but underestimate what can be done in 5 year's time.

This quote comes from somewhere, and it's not verbatim, but that's the gist of it.

As someone that is constantly working on personal development, it has come in handy in times of frustration... and has played out in my life several times now.

I'm really big on attaining new high-level skillsets, and have done so many times now in my life.

I'm also a teacher, I teach people how to paint... and watching their progression is an incredible thing to see.

The frustration of the new student can't be discounted, the struggle is real and you can literally see the toll it takes on them in their faces, their demeanor.

BUT, those that hang in there through the initial difficulty of the learning curve, are rewarded in spades a few years later.

If you're struggling with something that you've recently started, a new path in life, don't be upset that the results are shitty at first.

I know this is somewhat common sense, and why reiterate it?

Because you need to know that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and many have walked the path you are walking right now and have reached the light.

What one man can do, another can do.

Lol, rant off.

Good luck!
