Keep a voice activated recorder within reach where you sleep. When you wake up don't open your eyes. Grab the recorder and describe your dreams.

Every week or two, transcribe them to a notebook. Something that might seem insignificant now can trigger an epiphany at some point in the future.

Also when you lie down to sleep, concentrate on remaining aware while being completely still.

Make dream recall a top priority and you can build the bridge to the base reality. Work that muscle and attain that which seems just out of reach.

It's all skill development, through routine and practice. And that recall is the first weak link in the chain. Great advice, also you can review past dreams during a day you didn't remember that helps get memory flowing through the atrophic neuropaths and get's that pipe-line stimulate so it starts to develop again.
