Keep a voice activated recorder within reach where you sleep. When you wake up don't open your eyes. Grab the recorder and describe your dreams. Every week or two, transcribe them to a notebook. Something that might seem insignificant now can trigger an epiphany at some point in the future. Also when you lie down to sleep, concentrate on remaining aware while being completely still. Make dream recall a top priority and you can build the bridge to the base reality. Work that muscle and attain that which seems just out of reach.
