George Orwell: man of the people or elite insider?
The mainstream consensus is that Orwell was a good guy warning us about the dangers of totalitarianism.

However, some have suggested that he was in fact an agent of tptb, and that 1984 was not really a warning, but was a manifesto for the evil bastards trying to control the world.

Any thoughts?

He was actually a socialist , so his prophetic writings were from an insider view

Anyone can call themselves a socialist, doesn't mean they're an insider.

The socialism of George Orwell
A look at the socialist beliefs of George Orwell. Also, a look at his writings on Soviet Communism.

George-OrwellGeorge Orwell was a fascinating figure and brilliant writer. He was an idealist, who is best known for his work in warning of the dangers of totalitarianism (whatever its political form) This can be seen in the two classics 1984, and Animal Farm. Orwell was also a committed socialist who sought to promote a more egalitarian and fairer society.

Re: George Orwell: man of the people or elite insider?
of course he was an insider. he was a party member.

there's more spies in your little towns than any of you know, America has been 'communist' since the civil war, before then even or the civil war wouldn't have been possible.

they've always been there. watching. waiting. to welcome their God, Lucifer and his angels to squash the human race and conquer the planet, they themselves believing they are chosen to rule with them, instead they will be sausage

Re: George Orwell: man of the people or elite insider?
He fought in the Spanish Civil War/revolution.

For the Socialists pretending to be so who were marxists, and agents of roths child etc like the french one.

He formed his ideas and the basis of his works, on the disconnect he saw and experienced, between the newspapers, radios, books, chinese whispers, of the spanish, europena, british, american differant papers, governments, radio stations and what was reported, broadcast, done, was implimented on the spanish by both sides "against the enemy" and for "their good":

As a Juxtaposition of what he actually did, saw, experienced in the cold and hard reality of being there and part of that civil war.

As many Britains did. It created a during the time anger, raging aginst the lies intellectually, deep analysis, questioning of him doing wrong and right (as all those who went to fight for the Spanish civil war did so freely loosing their lives, and seduced by the propoganda to go and do so HE WAS BRITISH MANY WENT!!) just like BLM's and Liberals marchs and Environmental actions todays, no differance in the drivers, motivators, tactics etc than him, or the brave allies who went to Iraq or Afghanistan, and thr Afghanis and Iraqis now against the west who helped us.

He had cognitive dissonance. He though was still more mad at the other side as his hate, for that was more early formed, never had been his friend or allowed or accepted so he couldnt even forgive what had always been an enemy. He also had a lot of pride to cover, and had invested a lot in his cause, it had a very very big investement from him, risking his life, leaving everything, the horrors, those he had killed in the battles etc...

(something they use against you, in both ways, why we accept bad behaviour and forgive from those in power and abhorrent things like in germany nazi's etc, no matter the evidence, it well do the math etc...)

He became later a Liberal Socialist, trying not to be either side, so he couldnt be duped again, to ease his intellectual battles against the devestation of the moral and emotional scars what he did, saw, experienced and was said and done by the govs and press in regrds to it.

The rest is history, to ease his guilt, so no one else would be tricked, he gave us the greatest works of truth outsideof the Bible in the last millenia.

He took LSD once, it was recorded. It is interesting for such an intellectual giant. He was fully cognizant and described his experienced in very vivid detail.

That F society is very very very naughty and bad and in fact what he warned about, so member or not, and not all priests are kiddy fiddlers as such, there have been saints, it may be wrong to color him with that brush.

He risked his life, fought, killed, gave up a lot for his "political" ideas and emotions..right or wrong....it was a strong aspect of his core, he was hardly going to come back and be a mouse?

May God Bless YOu

People, being a socialist or communist doesn't make you an insider.

Anyone can go and become a member of their local communist party tomorrow, but they can't just go and join the global cryptocracy.

He was Huxley's student and basically stole all his stuff in my opinion, so just a fraud.
