I'm guilty. "The men tell all." I had to turn it off. The arguing and fighting among the childish men was too much! They acted like teenage catty girls! How about the black guy (was he Nigerian?) who got up to fight the white guy. The audience cheered him on. Just horrible! I could watch Jerry Springer if I wanted to see trash.

The two women, who are hosts, act like 13 year old girls.They rummaged through a man's suitcase when he arrived the first day to meet Michelle, and found evidence that he had researched something like....how to get a woman to like you. WHAT'S wrong with that? From then on, he was chastized for it...and made a fool of.

WHY would the producers allow such a thing? How juvenile.

Then how about the guy who posted FALSE and harmful reviews on the businessman's website? He ruined his business. The two hosts and the audience thought it was so funny!

Just horrid, cruel people. Is this what sells now?

Yes, it is a bad, bad exploitation of people's minds, emotions and dignity, so rough, cruel to them, ( 3ven more hard is that they can feel ashamed of not bring chosen, on national/worldwide) TV. the callousness is so terrible, that

i fear thaat the wounded soometimes will not recover totally from its damaging disresspect and callousness... it treasts the m just like they are commodities, not beings with feelings.

I didnt see that show, i actually thought that one was coming on tonight. To rummnage through sonebody's personal items, belongings, in a suitcase is VERY LOW and an invasion of the WORST KIND. And the way they those tw o w ne n hosts say, please take a moment and say your goodbyes" is SO PRECIPITOUSLY EVIL-SOUNDING, SO CRUEL. This is exactly the sorts of things i i hate it and say it is a spirit-killing production, it is a cruel template, producers create antagonistic responses which encourages sadness, humiliation, hopelessness, fury. I do not like it at ALL it makes me cringe.

I worry asbout them after it. Yet i watch because i love interpersonal dealings by different people, i love watching how some people are more intelligent, honest, pure, noble, and deep, and love those people. And those with truly pure manly emotions and responses.

I just hate this whole setup though. Like you said,... it is not a good production. It is sadistic malicous exploitation, energy draining and the producers are CRUEL. I DHOULD NOT WATCH IT BECAUSE TO WATCH IS AKIN TO SUPPORTING IT MAYBE. EVEN THOUGH I REFUSE TO BUY ANYTHING ON THEIR COMMERCIALS, ON PRINCIPLE.

I actually pray for some most of the contestants being treated so terribly roughly.

to me, it's like a figurative emotional, spiritual meat-grinder assault on their personhoods. .

I doubt if many men watch the show before they apply to be contestants. They might not realize that they might possibly be ridiculed in the end.

What's amazing, though, is how many people get a break in show business just by appearing on the show. A few women have become talk-show hosts. They're considered "celebrities" now. They're paid well. Both Bachelorette and Bachelors have appeared on ABC's "Dancing With the Stars." That's more "celebrity" exposure for them. Some are given the opportunity to model. I've seen several in print ads and TV commercials.

ABC also pays for Bachelor and Bachelorette reunions. They stay in fancy mansions, are supplied with food and amenities ...all paid for by ABC. They also participate in charity events, especially in San Diego and Los Angeles. I've been to one in San Diego.

Probably they have no knowledge of how wrong it can turn on them, or all but the most jaded gold-digger types might not want to be a contestant. Why not do it in a better way though? Like have heart, treat them kindly, with finesse, heart, and care,

Tell them any nastiness spoken will be a reflection against their own character, and a couple of those outbursts on anyone could be reason is reason to eliminate them.
...and of course never ever set things up to to ridicule or hurt their feelings. Like that booklet of advice on "How to get a girl to like you"

You can see their eyes change, it takes a big (terrible priced) toll. I think even the whole experience will cause a lot of the ending winning ones' relationships to be blighted, a pall is cast over them, the hurting memories, it is too much sadness to be really able to flourish

In the beginning programs of each show, they are always hopeful, sparkly.... full of excitement
By about 3/4 through this cruel staged gauntlet, they lose their happiness, their JOY it seems is usd up, hurt to death, it appears to me

What do you feel about Michelle herself? To me, she is amazingly, awesomely beautiful, lithesome, charming, quick, ... sensitive, kind, insightful, thoughtful, unselfish and smart, probably genius, she has had great parenting, yet, .., she seems trapped in a web of old damaging experiences with men and can not want to discipline herself to break that personal historical entrapping mould she has had in her past. She is going with some mere perverse influence of ancient type attraction of the old hurtful menm the same type, she is too intelligent for this behaviour. It is alarming and devastating to see her do this to herself now again....
