June 15. Ken Earl, a former staff member of the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee, described his study of the League for Industrial Democracy, a tax-exempt educational organization. Earl called the League 'an adjunct of the Socialist Party.'

A lot of this is also revealed by Lieutenant Colonel Bo Gritz and his interactions with the Chinese drug lord, Khun Sa, who both credit the rise of international drug trade to the CIA.

Other notable participants: Theodore Shackley (CIA) and Mao Se Hung (Southeast Asia drug smuggler.)

- Khun Sa also identified Richard Armitage assisting with CIA drug operations (Armitage served as Assistant Secretary of Defense under President Reagan.)

- Ross Perot actually tried to get Armitage fired because of this and spoke to then Vice President Bush (no action was taken.)

The story only get more complex as time goes on, Perot was actually threatened to have his gov contracts cut off if he persisted fighting against the U.S. backed trug trade. A lot of this also ties in with the MKULTRA type programs (which Dulles was heavily involved in) however I suspect readers here don't need a date-by-date breakdown of that.
