We heard all year about canceled flights based on undefined staff issues. I bet there are even more pilots that are not part of the association that published this list. The attendants number globally could go into the thousands - wouldn't surprise me.

Flight attendants tend to move around a lot more than a pilot sitting in the chair.

The longer you sit still at high altitudes the greater your chance for developing clots\DVTs- this is even without a shot in play - the shots just exacerbate it 1000 fold.

I wonder how many pilots or co-pilots may have died mid-flight, and they never told anyone on board. They left the body in the cabin while the passengers unloaded so as to not case a 'scare'. Then moved the plane to the hangar and loaded the body in the ambulance.

Dark shit to think about, but that's how these things work.
