The moment Adam and Eve ate THAT fruit they triggered the experience THIS fruit contained, their own future, and therefore those of their descendants, US.

Note that the narrative of the 'Six Days of Creation' (GEN 1) is NOT an actual creation, BUT the educational program of the new humanity for Adam's and Eve's story starts AFTER (GEN 2) the creation of those Six Days AND the 7th Day of God (start of GEN 2), those of His rest...STILL TO COME in the Millennium of God in the New Jerusalem.
