Allow me to add this major input about the Ash Wednesday and the Two Witnesses...clothed in sackcloth in Rev 11:


Rev 11:3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.


Keep in mind that 'the test of fire (ashes) will take place the 25th day', that is to say the Ash Wednesday, 25th day since HM Queen Elizabeth II 70th Jubilee! (Isaiah's prophecy of Tyre = Coming of the Lord after 70 years of the 'king').

The prophet Jeremiah calls for repentance by saying: "O daughter of my people, gird on sackcloth, roll in the ashes" (Jer 6:26).

The prophet Daniel recounted pleading to God: "I turned to the Lord God, pleading in earnest prayer, with fasting, sackcloth and ashes" (Daniel 9:3).

Just prior to the New Testament period, the rebels fighting for J independence, the Maccabees, prepared for battle using ashes: "That day they fasted and wore sackcloth; they sprinkled ashes on their heads and tore their clothes" (1 Maccabees 3:47; see also 4:39).

Jesus is quoted as speaking of the practice in Matthew 11:21 and Luke 10:13: "If the mighty works done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago (sitting) in sackcloth and ashes."



Do you connect the dots?

Look carefully the first verses of Isaiah 23, the prophecy against Tyre, metaphorically being the British Empire, and Tarshish, metaphorically being UK. Keep in mind that the 'Daughter Tarshish' is HM Queen Elizabeth II of UK, daughter of the last King of the British Empire, George VI.



Isaiah 23:1-2 A prophecy against Tyre: Wail, you ships of Tarshish! For Tyre is destroyed and left without house or harbor. From the land of Cyprus word has come to them. Be silent, you people of the island and you merchants of Sidon, whom the seafarers have enriched.

Isaiah 23:10 Till your land as they do along the Nile, Daughter Tarshish, for you no longer have a harbor.


So, in this prophecy, as already addressed few posts above, once the 70 years of HM Queen ER II are past (02/06/22), the Lord comes to get the British Empire back. Hence, the importance of the 25th day - tomorrow - related, in the cathedral's vision, to the queen in her coffin, but still alive ('king's lifespan' in Isaiah 23:15).

To better close the circle, here is what Christ says in Matthew 11:22 about Tyre and Sidon (metaphorical houses and harbors of the British Empire), located on the shore in Lebanon:


Matthew 11:20-21 Then Jesus began to denounce the towns in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent. “Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.


Matthew 11:22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.


'You' are Chorazin and Bethsaida, locations in Israel, in the chapter 11. Why would it be more bearable for 'Tyre and Sidon'? Because this is the Lord's kingdom...as George Christ...where miracles will be performed again!

In other words, Christ says that He will return into UK, rather than Israel, next time, with the Two Witnesses, clothed in sackcloth, taken on Ash Wednesday!

Taken? Really? Look what Matthew 11:23, the next verse, says about Capernaum in Israel too:


Matthew 11:23 And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted to the heavens? No, [unlike the Two Witnesses] you will go down to Hades.
