I was thrilled with my new 40 dollar Pumas, they are some sort of soft fake vegan leather. I stepped in a puddle, and my socks were still dry. And they apparently resist dirt, I've been wearing them for weeks now and they are still white. They are so comfortable and look cute with dresses and skirts.

A pair of good boots might cost 800 dollars, but a pair of sneakers? That is asinine.

Seriously, with a couple of exceptions, Gucci shoes are about the ugliest shoes on the market. These are at the bottom of the barrel. They look like something Rodney Dangerfield's character would have worn in Caddie Shack - only dirty.

I just spent 150 bucks on some Brooks Ghost 13 running shoes.

Most comfortable running shoes I've ever had, I can't WAIT till their broken in.

I also have 360 dollar Red Wing Boots that I've worn to work everyday for the past 5 years. Ive even paid dearly to have them re-soled.

I have no problems shelling out good money for a shoe.

Alot of back and hip problems stem from not having the right shoes.

Also my wife has a couple pairs of Gucci shoes and a wallet snd bag.

While I don't understand why people are so desperate to own 500-600 dollar shoes with no purpose, I will say the Gucci stuff my wife has, has lasted and is very well made.

She has one pair of Gucci shoes that are almost 8 years old and still look new. She wears them alot.

But, 870 for this.....hurrrrr
