I do believe that there has never been a worse time when it comes the arts, and beauty and fashion is a segment of the arts.

Yes, up is down, and beauty and uplifting is not the point of any arts right now.

However, the number of beautiful people on the planet is always somewhat lower than we expect it to be. Beauty is a quick thing that is far from universal.

However, we can look our best. We can take pride in our looks and we can, instead of following the trends, we can accept what nature gives us and give it a little push in the direction of beauty, health, strength, integrity.
