It reported that a large agricultural supplier in Kansas was advising customers, even back then, to order parts for spring planting. An epidemic of machinery theft has also hit these states, with parts being so hard to source. Access to steel, plastic, rubber and other raw materials, meanwhile, remains difficult throughout the US. Steel shortages have been made even worse, now that the knock-on effect of power cuts in China in early October are being felt. The outages forced several Chinese smelters to cut back production. It has been, quite literally, a perfect storm of supply chain factors. [link to supplychaindigital.com (secure)] Things are taking place before your very eyes. It's not the good old days In the US where you could see massive destruction in one state and food production was still more or less ok for the US Things have been centralized and consolidated so much that incidents like this will meaningfully affect farm production across multiple states. User ID: 81071993 Nicaragua 12/14/2021 01:44 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | "Losses sustained by farming operations across northeast Arkansas from a tornado Friday night likely will be in the many millions of dollars, with Adams Land Company in Leachville (Mississippi County) bearing the brunt. Billed as having the world's largest cotton gin when it opened in 1991, the family-owned Adams operation just north of the town's business district had several structures with walls and roofs sheared off, allowing cotton to be blown back into nearby fields harvested just weeks ago." And when one grid goes down ALL the grids follow. When the shit hits the fan in the cities it'll also hit the fans in suburbs, countryside, rural county areas, etc. When the waters get polluted the fish get polluted. The birds gets polluted, the deer get polluted. Probably the safest thing to eat will be the neighbors' pet cat Fluffy and precious dog Rex because they will have had all their shots and heartworm pills. After that it'll be each other. History is full of real life stories where parents eat their own children. So yeah, times they will a-suck. Terribly. Maybe its time to sit down with your family and decide who gets killed first for the next meal and then make out a menu. Can you handle the days ahead? There's nothing new under the sun. Not one thing. We used to be civilized. But these last few years we have watched normal decency and civilization deteriorate to the point where something drastic must happen. And the more I look at that tornado destruction I have to ask myself was it a tornado that did that because it sure doesn't resemble most of the ones in the past. Got A1 sauce? |
