Prayers and Support Needed Thread - Just Ask | |

Some people believe in sending energy, love, thoughts, compassion, support, or similar to people in need. And there are so many in darkness these days due to circumstances beyond their control. Many people never speak up but rather suffer in silence, so what I'm proposing to those that suffer alone is don't. Even if people don't believe that prayers are useful at least you'll have some people that empathize with what you or your family is going through and extend support. Especially during holidays when many people are alone and have no one. You can ask for prayers from GLP members for a specific reason, or you can just respond in support to those that are asking for help, support, and prayers for themselves or their loved ones. Lastly, you can also leave a prayer for someone else you are thinking of that may need it, and doesn't even belong to GLP. The power of prayer is strong and deep down everyone knows this. I've asked for support here and have been overwhelmed by the amazing people here at GLP. What's amazing is how it changed my world, and my spirits. I'm paying it forward with this thread. But I have a great life and I am happy. So, rather than ask for prayer for myself- I ask for prayer for others. There are many people who are alone. Many people in distress (financial, physical or mental issues, slaves to addiction, etc.) You may have your worries or problems but there is always someone less fortunate than you. Pray for those less fortunate than you. |
