Seismic activity on São Jorge Island has increased slightly in the last 48 hours. The President of the Republic ended his visit to the island this Saturday and says it would be rash to lower the alert level.

Marcelo's last day on the island of São Jorge begins with the current status of the seismovolcanic crisis. The President learns that there has been a slight increase in the seismic frequency.

For the first time this week, more than 100 tremors were recorded in a single day, at least two were felt by the population.

The challenge for the next few days is not to fall into the temptation of thinking that the worst is over.

This could indicate whatever is pressing on the field of the Canaries and Azores is moving north. Could be the same piece that is causing the magnetic north to move and the South Atlantic anomaly or there may be several fragments cycling around under the coriolis effect.

Either way, if something is pressing towards the field under Gibralter, then in the next six months look for ANY increased activity of Versuvias and around Naples.

Things are starting to heat up on São Jorge

São Jorge with four earthquakes felt in the last 24 hours

Four earthquakes were felt on the island of São Jorge, in the Azores, in the last 24 hours, informed the Azores Seismovolcanic Information and Surveillance Center

The tremors had magnitudes between 2.0 and 2.3 on the Richter scale and were felt with intensities varying between III and IV on the Modified Mercalli scale.

Already between 00:00 and 22:00 on Sunday, an earthquake was felt, with magnitude 1.8 on the Richter scale, according to CIVISA.

That quake was felt at 09:47 on Sunday and had an intensity III on the Modified Mercalli scale.

So far, around 252 earthquakes felt by the population have been identified.

Seismic activity has been occurring along a strip from Ponta dos Rosais to the Norte Pequeno area, in Silveira, and continues “above normal”, the statement said.

Heard some really crazy shit other day where La Palma was being induced into labor, so-to-speak. Some shit coming out of Norway allegedly. But it was stopped.

This would interest me. Where did you read this? What was the full story around it? Any other background info would be interesting to me if you had a source.

It was in a podcast, heaven knows which one since I hit so many different platforms at various times.

I can tell you that some crazy shit has appeared on time lapsed weather maps during hurricane season. Specifically last couple of yrs where I think Dutchsinse had even noted it on one of his broadcasts (specialty is quakes). I know DABHOO7 has done small clips over past yrs citing what looked like pulses originating from down near Antartica and Argentina ways. Major concern was the 'juicing up' of storm systems and steering them for max effect.

What can be done w/ tech in the skies for weather can most certainly have an equal companion in such a thing affecting what's below our feet.

If I can backtrack to where I recently heard this tidbit, will come back and drop here, sir/madam.

Figured it out, it was one of Ben Fulford's podcasts. Had it on in background while multi-tasking, so took me a while to figure it out. And it turns out there are others talking about how whatever they got in Norway also produced that funky spiral in the sky for Obummer. Supposedly to dissuade him from doing something akin to jumpin the gun, going off the reservation.

I know before they said it wasn't showing lower quakes because of wind, but still?

I'm starting to wonder about the accuracy, or maybe truthfulness is a better word about what is showing online.

Another wave of spikes and tremors for the group today, La Palma slowly trending up. You'll know if it was actually going to happen, IGN will go down. Imagine US communications going offline with a wave headed their way, and not the landslide wave but a island collapse. That 100 ft wave could be 1500 ft.

I always get nervous when that happens!
