We had COVID, here is what we did ... (They are lying about the Elderberry)

Oatmeal = beta glucan

Eat oatmeal mixed with some elder berry syrup. Tastes great. Very good for you.

Elderberry is contraindicated if you are already severely ill from a virus as it will promote the production and circulation of inflammatory cytokines at a time when that can hurt rather than help.

Elderberry is excellent in the beginning stages though, as OP has proven.

I'll have to look up what beta-glucan is. Lol

5 out of the 6 members of my home got COVID.

My son's fiance visited from school a couple weekends ago. While she was here, she woke up sick. She left and was subsequently dx'd with COVID.

A couple days later, my son got sick. Not good bc he has Type 1 Diabetes. It quickly went from him, to my elderly father and mother, then my other son and lastly, my daughter. I seem to have been spared.

I think COVID is the Flu, so I treated it as such.

I immediately began them on a regimen of Oscillococcinum and Elderberry Syrup.

I know they recommend to not use Elderberry for COVID, but after researching it more, I felt comfortable using it. Also, I am at the point that if they tell me to go left, I'm going right. Lol

The Oscillo was VERY effective in reducing the severity of the symptoms. Some spent one day in bed, others two, but no more than that.

Bc of these products, for everyone (except my father) it was like a severe cold or a mild flu. Even for my Type 1 diabetic son, who has been hospitalized twice for the flu in the past.

About my father ... He REFUSED TO TAKE THE ELDERBERRY.

HE is the ONLY one that is not well and is now struggling with pneumonia.

Incidentally, not only is Elderberry very effective for the flu, but it is especially useful to prevent pneumonia. And the only one who didn't take it, GOT PNEUMONIA.

I have some more info to share, but I need to tend to some chores and wanted to get this post out there in case it is useful for anyone.

No, but you need a prescription for that and I don't give pharma my money for something I can make myself that is better and doesn't give me side effects.

Also, the test was positive for COVID. Tamiflu isn't prescribed for COVID. For that reason alone, it probably works and also since COVID is likely the Flu.

I had it last year. Used quercetin and zinc, along with D3 and C. As well as asprin/tylenol for fever. Had it for a week, and then was fine. Did not know it was the virus. Thought it was the flu.

Then my husband got it. We ran out of quercetin. He ended up in the hospital with pneumonia. Officially diagnosed with the virus. In the hospital for 2 days, fine now.

This year, his son got it and was back to work in four days. We used the ponie p@ste.

If they tell you it doesn't work, well, it probably works.

Elderberry does not exacerbate a cytokine storm. Thats BS.

It assists in mitigating an inflammatory response..which is how you get pneumonia.

You should have your Dad walk around frequently and get a service to administer an IV drip of vitamins and NAD.

Sorry that your family got sick; I agree, I believe *Covid* is the flu/severe cold as well. I even had a doctor friend confirm that.

Elderberry is fantastic to help lessen symptoms of viruses and colds, and is an excellent preventative. I take it daily (along with D3, C, probiotics, and some other stuff). Haven't been sick in over 3 yrs.

Literally everyone in my family has gotten both covid shots, boosters, AND flu shots this year. They have ALL had colds/
flu like illnesses several times already. And most of them complain non-stop about backaches and headaches, as well!

I don't believe they even realize they're complaining daily and they definitely do not associate their weird/frequent symptoms to the shots. They don't take vitamins, either.

I'm glad your family is doing better, and I really hope your Dad improves as well. I understand what it's like to have stubborn family members who believe/trust the govt over their own flesh and blood.

This scam has made people both physically AND mentally ill. Divided a lot of good friends and families. Sad.
