First were M1 Abrams main battle tanks

Second were M2 Bradley IFVs

Big truck looking thing was a mobile command vehicle.

Didn't see the third type of armored vehicle though - I must have missed it.

Well, most of us are civilians, therefore most likely unable to distinguish military equipment. But the fact stands, that's a lot of tanks. TBH, in that single train, there were more tanks and equipment than many smaller countries have on their military as a whole.

I'm a civilian but I know the different types of military equipment, it's a hobby of mine.
the first set of tanks are M1s, the Truck its an mobile shop truck and then the M2 Bradleys and the containers hold ammo and other gear.
One thing I did notice is that the M1s have a new paint scheme, instead of Sand or the camo that is applied to the Bradleys.

Depending on where you are at, GA perhaps, seeing trains of heavy equipment is not too far off from anything that could just be normal.

Tanks and related heavy equipment like Bradleys go to Anniston, AL for depot level maintenance. As such, they also flow from Anniston to area of the US where the Army garrisons tanks.

Those are tanks to be used in a forested green flora such as Eastern Europe.

ALL of our hardware for the last 20 years has been painted Desert Tan,,,,,,because we were fighting in,,,,THE desert.

Now these are Olive Drab meant to blend in with forests and green pasture.

And them there tanks are headed North.
