Psalms meditation, Processing/"living out" God's transforming power "warts n all" and praying on Thursday 11/3/22 @ 2:00pm

Our God Reigns.

The inexplicable grace and long-suffering He demonstrates in extending grace and mercy to even those who cause the suffering of the innocents and who even deliberately shed the blood of these innocents.

Prayed.

Why i pray.

Because she's spot on.

Praying for my country, and us, the American people.

Prayed for our nation, and all of us, the American people.

Thanking our Creator, God for a new morning.

Abiding with us.

i'm thankful that God abides with me, against tremendous, tsunami-like odds. I'm convinced that if He can abide with the likes of me, He can abide with ANYONE.

Another reason i love God with all my heart.....

He is and has been THIS kind of Friend to me:

Speaking of a friend.....i found that i didn't need "armour" in His presence.

i am safe there.

Prayed to God, my dearest Friend, Who has stood by me, even when i cursed Him and told Him to go to hell.

He NEVER EVER got angry with me. He KNEW why i did all of that. It was because of tsunami's of excruciating pain and trauma.

He saw beyond my flailings, and He saw my NEED.

THAT is why i love Him.

Does God ever run?

A Pivotal Question.....

do we believe God when He makes promises?

Is it hard sometimes to believe God means what He says?

i wonder how Abraham and Sarah felt when, after God promised them a son, they were getting older, and past child-bearing age, and still no son?

Do we ever struggle with doubt in our very own circumstances?

This song's words touched on that very thing for me, with "help my unbelief".

It's an honest prayer to God, isn't it?

Pray for an Amish farmer named Amos Miller in Lancaster Pennsylvania, who is farnming according to his Amish religious beliefs and being tyrannized and persecuted for it by the Federal government. Unbeknownst to me this has been going on 5-6 years.

Praying for Amos Miller, his family, and his farm.

Pray for this Amish farmer in Pennsylvania.

i can't imagine how wearying and discouraging it must be to have the federal government nippng at your heels for 5-6 years, and imposing exorbitant fees on him, and threats of imprisonment.

Praying that God's peace fills and surrounds the Amish farmer, Amos Miller, and calms him, renews his strength, and sustains him. Praying for his protection and that God surrounds him with His warrior angels. May God thwart every evil intent and thing that comes against this farmer. Father may it be so, in the name of Jesus the Christ, the only begotten Son of You, the living God, the God of the living, amen.

Father, may Your grace, loving kindness, and tender mercies flow through this place. Remember our frailties and grant us what is needed to believe in You, for it is NOT possible, without You making it possible. May Your GOODNESS be seen, and hearts won, for the sake of the One Who You sent to bridge that gap between us, Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ.

He died for ALL of us, even as we hated and despised Him, spit on Him, and mocked and abused Him, till He was unrecognizable.

i can't imagine the brokenness of His heart to willingly lay down His life for us, as He died in such a horrendously inexplicable way.

Father shine Your glory. Show Your GOODNESS BRIGHTLY all over this place, in Jesus' name, amen.

For the Amish farmer, Amos Miller.

This is from 2019, but still relevant about the Amish farmer, Amos Miller, and his struggle to withstand the torrents of fines, raids, threats of imprisonment for 5-6 years from a government that is unleashing a torrent of rage against this farmer, for farming according to his religious beliefs.
