Yeah those snakes in the DC swamp lied.

I am thankful inexplicably to our Saviour, Who was a Man of Sorrows to the nth degree and beyond for you and for me.

i will be forever thankful and praise Him.

it humbles me and reminds me what He was compelled to endure for me, that He freely yielded to for you and for me.

Prayed for and about the above.

i have no regrets in trusting Him, even during those excruciatingly painful times.

How can i NOT sing to, and praise and worship Him?

How can i NOT sing to my God and my Saviour?

A beautiful Psalm, and a beautiful song based on that Psalm.

Audrey hits on those very things in my heart that i have (and still do) struggled with, and how God so verrry gently removes them from me.

He IS a GOOD Shepherd.

Christmas.

Well haven't we taken "Christmas" into a "sentimental journey" of Santa Claus, and "magical Snow and noses" and, with a smile, put the meaning of Christmas in with the realm of "myths" and "fairy tales", eh?

After all, it's not really "REAL", is it? (at least that's what God's adversary, Satan, would have us believe). So what difference does it make, right?

Here's why it makes a difference, and why it matters.

Christmas is about the coming and adventus entry of a Savior into the trenches, here, with us, in our darkness, blindness, and our oblivion to how utterly lost and hopeless is our lot, as we slowly but surely deteriorate, dying little by little each day until in utter defeat we expire, breathe our last, and return to the dust from whence we came.

And in our oblivion we chose to despise the very One Who came to wrench us from the grips of a yawning pit of bottomless proportions, amidst eternal echoes of hopelessness and despair in a darkness that is a black hole, where silently we swirl in regret and hauntings of sorries that never get said ...and there we are. Forever. Perhsps the Alpha and the Omega knows and sees what we cannot. Perhaps that is why He sent His only begotten Son. Perhaps the end of us is so inexplicably dire that He was compelled to take and do something extreme to stop it in its tracks. Perhaps we do not see the big picture because we are finite, while He has no such limitations.

In the midst of this tragic tragic world, we can turn our eyes on to our Savior, Jesus Christ, Who LIVES, and therefore so do we. Therefore, we HAVE a hope and a fer-real future, as it is written:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." -Jeremiah 29:11

A Psalm that is similar to Psalm 109 in that the prayer is asking God to defend him (David) from his enemies. is Psalm 35. David asks God to confound them, and put them to shame that devise his hurt without cause. He asks that they be as chaff before the wind (chaff is akin to dry husks and worthless things that the wind blows here and there).

This Psalm is similar to Psalm 109, in that David is asking God to bring justice to those who hate him and seek his harm without cause.

We can do the same.

God bless us, ev'ry one.

Why i pray.

Because of the absolute tangled spider web of deceit, gaslighting, corruption, and evil twitter, and its other entities connected to it have been.

i pray that the evil, corrupt, and tyrannical entities, controlled by the evil one, fall, one-after-the-other, like dominoes.
