What would happen if NASA told us what the Earth and Cosmos REALLY was?

Everyone on GLP must have many, many thoughts, ideas, speculations on this.

No one has thoughts on this?

How can they tell us what something they don't know really is?

They could start by showing us what the Earth's characteristics REALLY are. They obviously conceal things. Even getting video footage of the North Pole is impossible, never mind Antarctica. NASA has the ability to show us these things. Then there's high-quality footage Earth from space. That doesn't exist, either. Footage of everything else on Earth, but not OF THE EARTH?

Just interested in what GLPers think the Earth-Cosmos really looks like.

Yes, we would all see that nothing is worth fighting over and that ivory tower authorities shouldn't be trusted. Then a whole new way of life would begin. It wouldn't be a utopia, but it would be pretty decent.

Exactly. The story worked for a while, but not now and any other bullshit narrative won't work, so all that is left is the truth. It's like when a killer finally confesses and we all breathe a sign of relief.

I doubt that many in NASA know the truth about Earth and the Cosmos. They go with the globe-gravity-outer space narrative that no longer holds up.

It's in everyone's best interests to know the truth about life, reality and if we are lied to about the Earth, then no wonder life is a shit-show.

In the coming 20 years, they will either have to tell the truth (always the best thing to do in life) or make up a whole new false paradigm of bullshit. And that will be very, very hard to do in the age of 24/7/365 interbebz scrutinizing of every frame of video.

So we know the ocean is level and something holds in the gases and heat of Earth and that it isn't whizzing through space like on Star Trek. It's something more amazing than that. Whether NASA are the ones who reveal this and more as the true reality isn't important, it's that it will one day be so.

No, probably not, but my question is about what the reaction would be if NASA showed as the Firmament for example.
