The UK NHS site just assumes questions by vaccinated users if they can donate, with guidance on waiting a set period after you're jabbed.

It doesn't say anything about unvaccinated individuals. Nothing.

I was just curious to know if there was any separate storing of it based of either scarcity and value as a commodity looking ahead at the current state of things.

Blood should be full of natural antibodies, depending on blood group type they may have different levels of protection against covid.

Certain blood types would have the better antibodies for certain things, so technically more prized?

People with type A blood have anti-B antibodies.

People with type B blood have anti-A antibodies.

Type O blood contains both types of antibodies.

Are certain blood groups better protected from the start against covid?

I had hernia surgery 2 months ago in a regional facility. I was presented with the option for a transfusion 'to save my life' I agreed, with stipulation of 'unvaxxed' only. No one in the Pre-Op was able to tell me if the blood was tainted with Vaxx or not. Wasn't a good feeling (especially knowing how transfusions saved my brides life when she was being treated for uterine cancer and would active bleed nearly every week or so)

If you find yourself in a position to need blood, It seems like it would be better to take family or friends who have not been vaxed to donate on the spot for you.

I don't know if it would be in plasma or not but I would be surprised if it was not if the donor had taken the vax.

Pretty sure that doesnt happen in the us, unless you can do this off the books with a doc at home.
