Scrump, your always in my prayers. God is great, your testimony is really good for our father. Only our father needs all the glory, nothing in this world should get any glory. Our lives on this earth is all part of our heavenly fathers part to give glory to him through his son. If you are reading this, and you are unsaved. Please repent and believe Jesus died for your sins and repent. He is your only way to heaven. Man, I love you guys. Keep up the good work and do not use any bag language on this forum. If you do not believe in Jesus is lord and God is the father please and I pray for you that you really look at your lives and really give our father all the glory for where your at and your repent of your sins and ask Jesus to forgive your for sins. God loves you so please accept this, you only have one chance when your passaway.

I lost my dad 9 years ago to cancer. Since then I’ve learned a few ways to treat cancel. Saved my neighbors life.

As a fellow Texan and long time lurker here, I am so sorry for your loss. My wife lost her Father 4 years ago this Jan and I lost mine 8 years ago. I think about them everyday, without fail.

Buddy, the hurt never goes away, but for a good reason; the hurt is a reminder of what they meant and will still mean to you going forward. Keep his memory strong and if you have kiddos, always remind them what you loved so much about him, especially the silly stuff. So sorry for your loss. Prayers out to you and your family sir.

I’m sorry for your loss. I never post on GLP but came out of lurking to say so. I lost my father in 2019 and it’s hard. Very sorry 😞

Scrump I'm SO sorry!!! OMG this just breaks my heart. My prayers are with you and your family. I like the photo of your dad - he looks great in that photo. Sending a virtual hug your way. Again my heart is just broken for you right now.

Scrump, I am sorry for your loss. I'm likely around your age and my dad is my best friend, ever. I couldn't imagine losing him and I'm sure you feel the same. Thankfully my father who was vaxxed early on and the got COVID a couple months ago recovered. That said, he has some irregularities in regards to low platelet and low white blood cell counts. At his last checkup they seem to have gotten better but I don't have much faith... My dad is my hero, as is yours I'm sure...

Another note my biological mom who is estranged and is bat shit crazy had as many jabs as possible. She was diagnosed with b cell lymphoma a couple months ago, which I'm told she beat quickly but my bro just told me she now has kidney cancer and is scheduled to have one kidney removed. She blamed the unvaxxed 30 seconds into the conversation my bro told me. My brother is not vaxxed, nor am I. We are both skeptical and both had COVID... Twist is his daughter who is military (very high rank officer) was vaxxed early on so was her mother, his wife so she wouldn't feel alone. Both have since gotten COVID so it was all for naught.
