Start hand writing my glp trolls and mailing them out.

Most activity is going to focused on long-term survival off-grid. That means cutting down and chopping enough firewood in spring, summer and fall to get through winter. That means planting any food that you possibly can for harvesting in fall. That means long-term storage of food so it doesn't spoil. That means establishing security protocols for unwanted visitors.

Trust me, there will be sufficient work for everyone that boredom will not be an issue.

I won't have to worry about being bored....there will be ammo to reload, setting up commo equipment and establishing contact with the outside world, checking my solar panels, coordinating with like minded neighbors, etc etc

I've got plenty to do.

I have the last 5+ years of Mother Earth News magazines stored.

I have a producing garden and enough wood already seasoned for a year or more.

All of that will be prohibited by:

Ongoing severe weather.

No source of indoor lighting after batteries, petrofuels, and candles are gone.

Firewood will disappear with the ability to cut, split, and transport it.

Minor physical injuries, poor sleep, chronic malnutrition will greatly limit you.

Any chronic health or aging issue will quickly progress to morbidity if not death.

Fresh water will be scarce.

Animal husbandry will disappear.

One bullet or ladder fall will put you out of commission.

You will spend increasing time and energy caring for other people's needs because of your high level preps.

The longest you can last even with ideal preps is 1-yr.

I will tattoo every inch of my body that I am able to reach.

Lots of sex and reading.

running and screaming from 3-6

butchering some strangers you found dead 6-9

sleeping with one eye open 9-12

You won't have a second for "hobbies". Too busy trying to make food and survive.

At this point, 2 yrs later , things are getting worse......ain’t nothing going to happen

I was thinking the same thing.

My Generator can handle no power no problem as long as the LPG is flowing I can stay toasty and not freeze.
If not I'll crank off the gas generator and still stay toasty, cook non-emergency meals and watch OTA TV.

You think your water is gonna' carry itself? .Living a hand to mouth, dirt poor existence is constant (24/7) work no days off. You won't have time to be what we in the golden age called " bored"..

and if you are breathing; don't be surprised if you are FORCED to hand carry water or hand dig furrows (slavery) for some one else (THERE IS ALWAYS Some bigger meaner dog). Those fields are gonna' need (hand) plowing, weeding and watering.

Firewood(trees) need hand axe/saw felling; splitting; hauling and stacking.

If you don't like/can't hack man work: there's always "glory hole attendant".

Maybe then you will be allowed a bowl of "soup" from the community pot.But not at the mens' table...
