[imgur] [ link to imgur.com (secure)] I buy Ribeye on sale then immediatly seal them with the Foodsaver and put them away in my chest freezer. Today we are defrosting steaks from April 1/4 cow. Bought from Farmer and processed at a FDA facility last summer - now in fridge. All cuts - expensive this year - almost $5 a lbs.. In previous years it was just under $4 Get a chest freezer and 4 friend and then buy 1/4 (or more) its a far better way and you know where its been from pasture to the freezer the local farm nearest to me is $6.40/lb for quarter beef Buy a full to save va the 1/4. It will last years.
