(OP) User ID: 81328201 United States 12/28/2021 10:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm a hermit, but I think that people join together for safety, so that they are protected and can go on making a living and raising their young without being invaded or stolen from or harmed. I'm not against nations, or sacrificing to be part of a nation. Of course, what we need to always be aware of is that we join our nation for that ONE JOB. And if it doesn't complete that one job, then it is then useless to us. Do you think two hermits could get along? 1. “You can’t fire a cannon, from a canoe!” 2. “Strength is gained in the range it is trained.” 3. “If it doesn’t swim, run, or fly, or isn’t green and grow in the ground, don’t eat it.” 4. “Know that you have complete control over what you put in your mouth. No one ever ate anything by accident.” |

Do you think two hermits could get along? Yes, I think hermits have always kind of liked being around other hermits! Thus you have things like monasteries where hermits can go. I think that some people are just introverts. They gain energy from turning inward, while others gain energy from being around others. So extrovert hang with others "because it's easier". I'm not 100% hermit. But that is beside the point. When you put others in a position of policing and enforcing, they gain power. Power corrupts. We create monsters. And then instead of being eaten by the wolf or the invader, we are eaten by the monster we created.
