You can decarboxylate and extract with either fat or alcohol (like in a tincture) to make it bioavailable when ingested.

I used to smoke, but much prefer oral ingestion now. I'm not a smoker and don't really like the idea of regularly insulting my lungs. The tincture works nearly as quickly, the butter..well it depends on a lot of variables, your plant, your digestion, etc. But it's my grow and my butter and it works great for what I want it to do.

But I set aside some for smoking on occasion.
