I was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ LDS - for 25 years - and it was what Joseph Smith "bought from the Kabbalist" that put me on the search for these "hidden" truths ... I quit the church and studied with the Kabbalist ... and that led me to teachins of the Lyricus Order ... also put on line in 1998 you have no idea what your missing by limiting yourself to the mistranslated highly edited Bible written by the Romans centuries after Jesus was crucified Yeah I get your point but many in the LDS deny the power of Christ, and that is why I have a problem with it. None the less this is kinda interesting. I find this Interesting, because God ask what Kind of Temple could you possibly build me? Still, by using both the language of engraving letters and the language of temple building, Sefer Yetzirah connects sacred text (the letters) with the world (the cosmic Temple). Thank you for your open mind - I understand your hesitancy - lots of lies about the Mormons out there ... what I gained most from my membership was self-discipline - they are most likely the most difficult church one could join ... but I did master myself ... but I eventually out grew the need for organized religion... in my search for SOURCE info the Sefer Yetzirah is really a mind blower ... only a couple of pages long ... it is the zygote of Language ... Creation is the projection of a TONE into the Light ... words are tones ... and we use them so wrecklessly Interesting also to note is how they are most creative when there are three of them ... how some are considered "Mothers" ... the Kabbalist studied this book for thousands of years and are still discovering new creative formulas
