Kabbalah is a way of living ... I was not raised in chewish traditions, so I couldn't relate to the parables in the Zohar - I think the only reason they put up with me was because my grandmother was a chew - but dropped her religion when they immigrated to the US - after the prussian wars ... she became Lutheran (Missouri synod) to "fit" in ... and avoid being ridiculed like they were in E Germany where they grew up ... my dad was Southern Baptist ...I studied both denomination ... my friend were all Catholic so I went to catechism with them but couldn't call the (homo) priest "Father" and asked too many question ... I joined several other churches ... Presbterian, Methodist, JoVos and settled on Mormon because they LIVED their religion ... it was all good ... I am proud to be chewish ... but I don't limit myself to any religions - like Jesus - I want to avoid death, and the "wrath of god" by moving into the next dimension where god can not go - because Nature won't give him a body and he doesn't want to share one
