It's a dark comedy, but I found the parallels for covid and the comet to be pretty stark. The nonchalant nature of the elite and media; the few who are willing to speak up are not listened to or silenced. It's not until near the end when people can actually look up and see the comet do people realize what's going on. Maybe that's what it'll be like when the covid deaths get to be so much that they can't hide it and like the Chinese government has stated; it's a 100% kill rate; it's just a matter of when; not if. We'll see what kind of last ditch efforts they try; I think Ivermect/HQC and the like were the first rocket launch in the movie. |

And how it's different from reality. Spoiler alerts incoming... The comet coming to destroy everyone on Earth = COVID. However the comet is a natural course of events and COVID is a man made disaster. Leo who discovers the comet as a ELE and becomes the government scientist for the media = Fauci. Remember articles saying Fauci was the sexiest scientist alive? Just like Leo in the movie... However Leo is an otherwise good guy (minus the affair) and Fauci is a evil SOB who directly funded research that led to this COVID disaster. The big tech giant CEO who wants to mine the comet for minerals to profit off the comet, but ends up getting everyone in the world killed in the process = the pharmaceutical companies who distribute COVID vaccines but end up mass murdering people. Jennifer Lawrence who constantly loses her sh*t to everyone b/c they won't take this serious = all of us on GLP who can see what's really happening while the entire world around us is blind to fu*kery that's happening during this covid disaster. Many Americans misreads the Covid as real threat to their health despite all evidence to the contrary. The scamdemic was, in fact, a coordinated, world wide power grab that effectively held a gun to the head of Western governments and said if you want your country to survive then concede national sovereignty to global government and globalist institutions. In other words the scamdemic was not a domestic political agenda, it was a foreign-sponsored attack against the sovereignty of the United States (and the West). All the knuckle dragger will ask, "What difference does it make?" It makes plenty of difference. As long a people stupidly think of scamdemic as domestic politicians fighting over health policy over a deadly virus, you'll miss the danger and significance of a 3-5 year (up to 12 year) forced lock down of the population as a weapon of mass destruction just as bad if not many times worse than if Covid 19 had a 50% mortality rate.
