Quoting: Anonymous Coward 81424077 As windy as it was here yesterday, there's no way you could "control" a fire to leave some things safe. Some of these theories I see on here are barley even thought out past the first glance Mousse7714 |

Yes, there certainly is. However, you and I appear to be the only ones so far with eyes to see here. Hopefully, more will chime in. Plastic trash barrels literally 15 feet away from a 1900F fire weren't even singed. The DEW doesn't affect plastic. This is another reason for the mandatory evacuation. They don't want anyone close by recording the zapping. Also, if they kill someone, a pesky relative could demand an autopsy and too many people would see what really happened. When you are afraid of losing your life, you have already lost your life. Don't be afraid. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 80928359 United States 12/31/2021 01:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nothing like this has ever happened in the Denver area before. Quoting: ktpy MSM ignoring it. GLP even ignoring it to an extent. Footage you can find of the aftermath (so far) is heavily edited. But you'll notice the gaps in fire-lines, as in, the fire stopping and magically restarting a couple of blocks over. Hmm.... Just because you don’t what embers are and how they work in high winds doesn’t mean there was anything unusual about the paths taken by the fire. |

Or else TPTB, in order to force the people into the Agenda 21/30 sustainable cities. Wow, it looks like the ENTIRE area where the fires happened are marked for “little or no human use”, “highly regulated”, or “buffer zones”. In fact, there isn’t much of ANY Colorado land that’s planned for “normal use” under Agenda 21. [link to thetruthwins.com] |

Otherwise it's by the Airport, and it sucks out there. It's a 10 mile drive through an industrial park to the last homes available. You do not want to live by the airport right now. They are rebuilding the I-70 freeway, and it's a nightmare. They are RAISING it, then rebuilding the road underneath to be a strait through. This area where the fires were is nice an quiet away from all the city BS which is why people liked it. But they were warned it was a risk to build on the plains. Tomfoolery |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 80928359 United States 12/31/2021 02:58 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A 700k home in Denver is a working middle class person. It is not a "wealthy" area. These are people who take out mortgages and go to work 5 days a week. Prices doubled in Denver from 2006 until now. There are no lower range homes even left in Denver, it's all gone. If you're lucky you can buy a shack off East Colfax for 400K. But they were warned it was a risk to build on the plains. As a lifelong front range Coloradan, thank you. People here really don’t know what the difference is between middle class and wealthy; or, they are largely rural types who struggle to understand how a $700K home could be anything other than a wealthy villa of some sort. These were most if not all middle class working family homes that were destroyed. A former colleague of mine’s house was destroyed. Climate change is real. I have seen climate change happen within my own lifetime in my home state. This should not be a politicized matter anymore. Throughout history we have seen climate and microclimates changed through human activity. No one should be surprised that dumping billions of tons of CO2 into the air each year is affecting climate patterns and raising the average temperatures of the globe. All of these people in here celebrating the destruction of “rich” people’s homes seem eager enough to parrot the same climate related talking points as big oil CEOs. I wonder why? |
