Many people with Lyme use rifampicin. It's been proven by autopsies that lyme spirochetes exist in brains of those diagnosed with Alzheimers.

Obviously you don't have a friend or relative with Alzheimers or Lewy Body dementia.

While I don't think this is the be all end all, it's positive information in a forward direction to build on for peer review. There are numerous cases if you care to search of Lyme spirochetes residing in the brains of dementia patients in biofilm colonies. Maybe you care to research the theory of whether the plaques found in Alzheimer brains are causative or are they protective against the pathogen biofilms. And Rifampin is a front line antibiotic for Lyme and associated confections.

That's the way these research studies are always written and definitely worth noting that most research studies never end up producing the the same result in double blind studies. But this one focuses on a major common antibiotic already used in pathogenic infections which are well known to cause dementia when left untreated. Why this one is a nasal already I don't know and didn't delve into the fine print.

Considering there hasn’t been any considerable advance in dementia treatment in decade “may be” is pretty good. Resveratol is already readily available and would have positive health benefits either way
