Yes - hear me out on this. The gender war is another false binary engineered to divide and conquer our cultures. Good partners are definitely much harder to find these days, but we need to show the world that functional relationships are still possible. If you're in a healthy relationship, flaunt it - llet the dysfunctional couples/hook-up addicts see that you have both found someone that makes you truly happy. When the rest of the world finally starts asking themselves, "what's wrong with my life", they can look to you as an example. Don't just settle, find the one(s) that are right for you and WORK with each other when things get difficult. A relationship is form of social contact as well as a living, dynamic thing.

Ask me a year ago, I woulda said no buuuuut (full disclosure) I’m falling in Love at 43 for the first time in 17 years…( Clearly not settling) and For the first time EVER I can say worthy of me dreaming about walking down the isle… he may just be THE ONE. And if you knew me, you would know I don’t play around with matters if the heart. Never imagined I may find someone. But I’ve always Loved Love and I didn’t let my heart grow cold. You just never know. And he is as against the shot as me. No settling allowed or you just sell yourself short.

I'm sure there are some out there who are worth it(I know a few) but I stopped dating women about 3 years ago. It felt like I was dating the same person over and over and over. Just tired of the whole dog and pony show.

Not worth the headache and energy drain. I might date a foreigner if I can manage to leave the country some day. Never dating an american woman again.

I just don't GAF anymore. I've had more than my share of them over the years, and I've pretty much had enough.

At 50, the last thing I need is someone invading my space and peace and quiet, disrupting my equilibrium and trying to change me or interfere by being dictatorial.

I've got what I need and that's really all I need. If, and that's a BIG if, I met someone worth my time I might consider it but more than likely not. I did that 5 years ago and boy, did I fuck up; I didn't want or need a boss.

There's a lot more to life. I'll never learn all the songs I want to, never read all the books I'd like to and never visit all the places I'd like to, so I can keep busy.

Maybe not. I just don't have the time, patience nor the inclination to bother finding out.

It works for some men, just not for me.
