Without warning? I'd say there was plenty of indication that it was coming, big tech and our oligarchs hardly made a secret of their intentions. Is it communist or marxist? Sure but people will always argue "you don't have to use their services" without understanding that the only way to avoid this is to literally start your own bank, your own credit card company, your own payment system and then basically start your own country because no other country in the world will recognize your newly created instituions. Just take those few simple steps and you'll be free of big tech censorship and the monopolistic control of the financial sector. It should take about a hundred years or so to really get it off the ground. Sounds easy enough right?
