'Flat Earther' - an emotionally loaded slogan, used by media, politicians & influencers.

Like other loaded terms, eg conspiracy theorist, far right, anti vaxxer and many others, it invokes an instant emotional response & opinion - if you let it.

I think influencers laugh when they see these terms being mindlessly repeated by the public.

Belief has no part in discerning objective reality, which is singular. It is what it is, regardless of anyone's belief.

The earth is obviously not flat, it is very undulated, many hills, mountains and variance in the topography.

Bodies of water on the other hand, do not adhere to the exterior of objects and convex on their surface. (Droplets are a false equivalence to gravity induced ocean/sea/river/lakes bending)

Air (compressed gas) does not behave the way the globe model would have you believe either.

The physics of these 2 fundamental substances (air & water) are tangible, testable, demonstrable and provable. these physics are entirely at odds with the globe.

The globe model relies heavily on assumptions about the luminaries (which are intangible) and the conflation of optical geometry (how your eye/a camera etc. works) vs physical geometry.

In debunking the globe due to its glaring absurdities, one is in no way obligated to provide an alternative model (eg ice wall/ae map etc)

the globe is a hoax.
