Anyone else find covid has made you have weird dreams and insomnia?
Ever since having covid it has done a number on my brain. I find myself wakenned with these dreams I can't stop. I get up and walk around and they persist. My whole body becomes amped and it becomes difficult to return to sleep.

Last night this persistent dream almost collapsed into a sort of memory and it felt like a immense pressure on my head before it subsided.

Stange indeed. Anyone else experience?

Re: Anyone else find covid has made you have weird dreams and insomnia?
Yeah... sometimes in the state between waking and sleeping, long before I hit REM, I sometimes slip into a weird sort of rapid stream of consciousness / dream state... that I'm not really conscious of like a dream, only in flashes, and not like thoughts, because I'm not able to remember or process them. Very hard to describe.

Edit: I don't know that I have ever had covid. Just weird dreams lately.

Same here. I know exactly what you are talking about. Very hard to explain the experience but you nailed it.

its as if I'm not sleeping but I'm stuck dreaming. The dream is rapid and repetitive and hard to shake off.

It is not enjoyable as I toss and turn. It almost feels like my brain is being pulled or pried apart. I get up and walk, sometimes several times before eI can get out of the state.

it doesn't feel natural and sometimes accompanied by extreme ringing in my ear.

Can anyone explain this phenomenon.
