Novavax Ramps up global manufacturing capacity in 2022 > 4B Doses

This agreement also shows how strong Novavaxs profit margins are. The size of the bio reactors that this company uses makes about 2,000,000 to 3,000,000 doses per month. They currently have two bioreactors and are adding two more in late 2022. Using the low end of the range which is 2 million, from the start of 2022 until roughly the end of February 2023, they will make 4 million per month times 14 months, which is 28 million. For the remaining 34 months of the contract, they will make 8 million per month, which is 272 million.
That is 300 million doses for $372 million, which is a cost per dose of $1.24. If their cost of matrix M adjuvant is $.26 per dose and they pay $.50 per dose for fill finish, the total cost per dose is only two dollars. For doses they sell for $20, the profit per dose is $18.
This fits with Bill Gates saying a year ago that the maximum cost per dose for making Novavax doses would be three dollars. Even in an expensive western country, the maximum cost is three dollars per dose. In Eastern Europe where real estate, rents and labor are much less expensive, two dollars per dose is doable. This is much less expensive than the RNA vaccines.
So they have the most effective vaccine, that also has lower rates and lower severity of side effects, and also does not have heart inflammation safety issues, and does not require a frozen cold supply chain, and is also the lowest cost to make.

Good news for the many people who have not wanted to take the DNA/MRNA jabs, and have been holding out for this vaccine. Mild side effects only, and seems to work better than the others have so far.
