I certainly didn't expect this.

Reckoned we would all have flying cars and replicators by now.

How naive of me.

sort of ya!

i expected things would have moved along a little faster. thought maybe there might be a cure for cancer and maybe the common cold by now. I thought everyone would have a personal aircraft. thought maybe travel would be faster and trains would be faster. I didn't think that George Orwell's book 1984 would come true though.

...nor how the media would enable it through mass manipulation.

It truly is mass psychosis we are seeing.

The misuse of media

Just imagine what sort of sweeping social changes could be induced by the correct use of propaganda and education.

Instead we have...well, you know what we have.

Nope. Went by in the blink of an eye really.

Was an early awakened born again Christian seeking alternate news and truths some 30 years ago.

With that said, I new we were all screwed by the money changers and super rich long ago.

Early in my years there was a daily/magazine though we were introduced to in school.

It was call the Weekly Reader I think. I do recall back then long ago they were showing the 2000s to be just like you stated.

It is very sad, where I grew up is much worse than it was when I was a kid. No upgrades of anything Industrial wise besides smart phones, shitty cars, computers, tv, video games, etc.

We were young and truly free. That was before CONgress and all these politicians dug into the US Treasury aka and Fed Reserve insider trading, huge govt contracts to associates and family members.

The LOVE of Money truly is the root of all evil.

2022 does seem very futuristic to me. I remember back in jr. high in science class there were pictures in the textbooks of cars of the future that looked like the old Ford Taurus and Mitsubishi Eclipse. Now they're even in the rearview mirror. I don't think anyone seen smartphones coming, not even Star Trek writers.

I grew up dirty and hungry.
All the time.
Felt like I was starving, but other
people had food.

I guess I’ll die that way.

But recently I think I’ve seen something

I am not religious or anything.
But I really miss

Never ever would I have imagined this.

It´s a great mourning for what could have been.

I began to feel it and see it in the end of the eighties.

Then the digital revolution lifted the veil and evil came through.

Media became a mirror projecting evil on The People.

Turning reality upsidedown.

6 % - psychopaths of humanity - took all the power and

turned us against each other.

Evil octopus sucking life and happiness out of humanity.

Lies lies and lies.

Never ever would I have imagined such evil.

I thought the world would've "ended" long before it ever got this awful.

I find it super sad that humanity has gotten this depraved and undignified without killing itself first.

It would've been more honorable to take the world down in Nuclear war or something.

This....this debasing of ourselves...embracing ignorance and stupidity like we have...it's so sub-root chakra...so backwards and beneath where we used to be...

I'm not 50+, but I am 40+

When I was little (in the 80s), my babysitter asked us something similar. We were so full of wonder about what the world would be like after 2000. At the time, we couldn't even imagine living that long LOL It seemed so far away.

Now that we're older, it didn't really seem to take nearly as long to get here. I guess time flows forward faster in hindsight.

But as a child, I expected the Jetsons and Star Trek as well. I certainly never thought things would be like this.

Now, can we imagine what the world will be like in 20 more years? I'm almost too scared to find out.

I'm so embarrassed on behalf of mankind. Goodness.

Yeah, blame others. It’s all of us. The fact is, 90+% of people are mindless, greedy, liars, gluttons, and fornicators/porn addicts. Even as a kid I realized most people are just plain selfish. With I grew up and became a born again Christian it all made sense. You have to be really blind and naive to think humanity is heading towards some great place on its own. Sin is real.

Only one end to this present world and only one solution.
