I have thought for long time that TX should form it's own TX State Guard to defend us at the border. I'm not sure of the "legal" part of of that but the COTUS is pretty clear on a states' right to defend itself.

They could be stationed on the border outside of the "federal border zone" and apprehend all of the illegals that are let go by the feds.

Feds still pay for half or more of the training. THey're not going to win.

Feds would not pay for a STATE formed militia TX would. They only pay for NG training.

How about we start organizing first, and then petition the state or use crowdfunding to source the supplies and training?
